Robert Woodbury is a well known artist who makes Edmonton his home. Robert has been a part of the local Edmonton artistic scene for many years. From book illustration to industrial design, interior architectural design to creative multimedia he brings a vast wealth of experience to a plethora of projects like Airbrushing, sculpting, ice sculptures,paintings, caricature, sidewalk chalk art, stained glass, cartooning , book illustrations, mixed media, and painted sculptures. He also excels at web site and graphic design.
His painting style spans classical, water colors and abstract using traditional paint brush and airbrushing techniques. Always up for a challenge Robert has been commissioned for everything from portrature and airbrush customizing to chaulk art. As is the way of the modern artist he has had to respond to change with resourcefulness and flexibility. Robert started programming computers for graphics when he was 10 years old and began drawing from live models at 11. His restless spirit and inquisitive nature have led him to diversity of experience and strength of insight. As an educator, Robert has enriched others lives as an artist in residence at an elementary school, an airbrush instructor for Continuing Education and a makeup and special effects artist.
Robert is a trained baratone and professional cantor and has sung on the album
